Who we are
Welcome to Kenton Baptist Church!
KBC is a safe place to explore your faith and discover God’s love. We are a group of Bible believing Christians who meet together to worship God and serve our community. Jesus Christ has shown us how much God loves us -
Our desire is to know God more and to help everyone discover how amazing He is!
We meet together on Sundays to worship Jesus, receive teaching from the Bible and enjoy God - everybody is welcome. Just come as you are!
Who Are We?
We are a diverse group of individuals that love to meet up and worship our Saviour, Jesus Christ. We believe God has called us to meet with Him together and serve not only each other but also our local community.
We believe that God sent His Son, Jesus to take the punishment for all our wrongdoing and as a result, bridged the gap between humanity and God the creator for all eternity.
We believe the Bible is the perfect word of God that we base our faith and life upon. It was written to show us who He is, to reveal the promises and love He has for each one of us and to invite us into relationship with Him.
Our hope is that, in all we do, we represent Jesus well and share His immense, unconditional, unfailing love with everyone we meet. We often work with other churches in the local area and are linked to the London Baptist Association and the Evangelical Alliance.

Leader Bio:
Steve and Sheila moved to Kenton in October 2011 and Steve was inducted as the Minister of Kenton Baptist Church on Saturday 5th November. Steve writes “I was brought up in a non-Christian home, and in 1989 after listening to the Gospel message by Dr. Billy Graham, I realised how much more there was to life, and a simple first step towards the relationship God had always wanted for me, was only a prayer away. I responded positively to the call, and experienced an immediate desire to know him more by accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour.”
Steve spent nearly 20 years in secular employment before training for Christian ministry, first in the Methodist Church and then in the Baptist denomination. He and Sheila have worked a lot with young people as well as congregations of all ages. Both are gifted musically, singing and playing guitar. They especially enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren when they can.
Steve says “We have a strong desire to see the Church built up and our society transformed by the love of God. Since becoming Christians our greatest desire has been to see other people find a living faith, freedom in Christ and a joy in discipleship."

Kenton Baptist Church Kenton Service Times
Sunday Services
Every Sunday we meet together at 10:30am (our main meeting) and 6:30pm.
The aim of our services is to give thanks and worship to God, to meet with Him and to hear what He has to say to us, both as individuals and as a church. Our services are laid back and everyone is welcome. There’ll be some music and we’ll read the bible together before we look deeper into God’s word.
During the morning service, there is an opportunity for young people up to the age of 14 to explore God’s message in an engaging way with their leaders through games and various activities. All children will meet in the main church service and will leave with their leaders during the first part of the meeting.
