Who we are
What is Kirby-le-Soken Evangelical Church?
We are a local congregation of God’s people who come from all sorts of different backgrounds but are united by our common faith in Jesus Christ. Based in the village of Kirby-le-Soken, we meet together for worship, teaching and service. Nevertheless, we are pleased to reach out to Kirby Cross, Walton on the Naze, Frinton on Sea, Clacton and beyond. We are delighted when people visit us and look forward to welcoming you.
We are a Baptist church in practice, belief and teaching. We place a high value on teaching the Bible in our services, and seek to apply its teaching to everything we do in the church and in our individual lives.
We are an Evangelical Church affiliated to the Fellowship of Evangelical Church (FIEC). "Evangelical" simply means good news or good message and an evangelical Christian is one who believes what the Bible says about the Good News (Gospel) of the Lord Jesus Christ. Our affiliation with FIEC means that we have links with over 500 churches distributed across the UK.
We are a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), registered charity number 1170625.
