Rocky began his ministry here at Liberty in January 2015. He is a graduate of Johnson Bible College (now Johnson University) in Knoxville, TN, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible and Preaching. Rocky is also a graduate of Mid-America Institute of Theology where he earned a Master of Arts in Christian Education and Counseling and is a licensed Pastoral Counselor with the National Christian Counselors Association. Brother Rocky has also studied at Kentucky Christian University working towards a second Master's degree.

Rocky married the love of his life, Sandy Willey in 1978. They met at the Parkview Christian Church in Indianapolis where they were members and servants together. They were teachers and sponsors of the youth program and Rocky was a deacon before going to Johnson Bible College in 1980. They have two adult daughters, Bethany, who also graduated from Johnson University where she met the love of her life, Chris Eslinger. They have two sons, Elijah Lee, and Ethan Michael and a daughter, Elliana Nicole. They serve with Freedom Church in Lebanon, OH. Rocky and Sandy's daughter Jordan is a graduate of Indiana University and is the Spanish Teacher at North Putnam High School in Roachdale, Indiana.

Rocky enjoys spending as much time as he can with Sandy, the girls and of course the grand-kids. He gets excited when he is able to attend Indiana Hoosier basketball games with his daughter, Jordan. He enjoys watching the Cincinnati Reds play as well as the Indianapolis Colts. You may see him at garage sales as it is hard for him not to stop when he sees one. He says it gives him the opportunity to invite people to worship.

Rocky has mainly ministered in churches in Tennessee, Illinois and Indiana.
