Who we are
LifeSpring Church began in 1979 when a small group of Christians began to meet together in Southcote Library Hall. At that time we were called Southcote Fellowship, and in 1984 changed our name to Prospect Community Church before becoming LifeSpring Church in 1994 operating as a charity under LifeSpring Trust registered charity number 296276. As of 2013 we have moved to our new building "The Pavilion" along the Oxford Road in Reading.
In general terms our vision as a church is to respond to the 'Great Commandment' - to love God with everything we've got, and to respond to the 'Great Commission' - to go and make disciples. In 2003 we began to transition to the cell church model of G12 and have found this model is helping us begin to fulfil our vision.
We are a church of all ages and currently meet together on a Sunday morning at The Pavilion which is situated at 143-145 Oxford Road, Reading, RG1 7UY.
During the week everyone is encouraged to meet in a small group (cell). Some meet during the day, others in the evening and we have cells for adults and children from about age 10 upwards. In additon there are a number of other activities, especially for the youth in the church.
Door of Hope is a ministry of LifeSpring Trust. It is a residential discipleship project with the aim of helping men who have struggled in the past with addictions, to find healing and wholeness.
LifeSpring is a member of the Evangelical Alliance, in partnership with Pioneer, and is part of Reading Christian Network.

Quote of the Day
Luke 12:24
Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?
