Who we are

Mother of Our Redeemer was established on June 29, 1988, it continues to serve Catholics in the north of Miami Lakes. Father Fernando Compaired, the founding pastor, served the parish from 1988 to 2005. The first Mass was celebrated at American High School before moving to a storefront a nearby shopping center. The parish erected hall that continues to function as a meeting and worship space for more than 1,500 families.

The parish established an elementary school in 2002 with students attending from pre-kindergarten-3 through eighth grade. Volunteers operate a parish gift shop for religious articles. Its funds serve as an outreach ministry for the parish community, which aid the needy for medicine and food.
