Who we are
Mt Aetna Bible Church began approximately 30 years ago as a church plant of the Lebanon Valley Bible Church in Campbelltown, PA to be a witness for Christ in the Robesonia-Wernersville area. The church was led by Dale Kreider who along with several other families began meeting in homes and then the Robesonia library. The original name was Heidelberg Bible Church due to its location then in Heidelberg Bible Church.
The church spent six years in Brenner Hall in the Wernerville State Hospital. In the late spring of 1991 the church moved into the North Jackson Grange Hall. God provided steady growth during these years and in July of 1994 the church moved into their present debt-free facility in Mt. Aetna. At this time the name was changed to Mt. Aetna Bible Church.
This however, would not be the end of a Heidelberg Bible Church for a group of families led by Jere Bashore were commissioned to plant a sister church back in Robesonia which became the Heidelberg Bible Church.
