Who we are
Jesus came to show us what life can, and ought to be.
Think about that! God loves us so much that He made it possible for us to have a life filled with favour.
The Church here is independent of all external organisations but seeks to make the Good News of the Abundant Life that Jesus came to give us available and known to all we meet and touch.
The building we meet in has been home for a church for over 200 years. But, there is very little evidence when you come inside of the age of the building.
It is also true that the Good News we are here to share has been the same for longer than the building in New Street. Yet it remains as fresh, up to date and life changing as it ever was.
Lots of things going on are very different to what happened 200 years ago, because the community we are in and the world around us has changed almost beyond recognition.
Yet the problems and hopes, the joys and sorrows of people living in the community are very similar.
Over the years we've been showing people just like you, that God's Word is applicable and relevant to everyday life.
We have ministries for the whole family. Enjoy live praise and worship, practical life teaching.
Come and see for yourself, and while you're at it, bring your whole family and make some new friends.
We'd love to see you soon.
