Who we are
Opawa Baptist Church’s purpose, in common with every Christian church, is to be the junior partner in God’s mission 0f –
Saving a people – Ephesians 1
Transforming us into God’s likeness – Colossians 3:4 and Phillipians 1:6
Drawing us into the loving life of God – 2 Peter 1:4
So, we commit ourselves under the Lordship of Jesus in the power of the Spirit, to be God’s people who gather and worship in this place.
We will walk together through life, looking out for each other along the way.
We will build bridges into our world, to bring God’s love to those who don’t yet know God.
We will be a worshipping people who share their lives and live their faith.
