Who we are
We are a church in heart of, and with a heart for our community. Panshanger is a Local Ecumenical Partnership (LEP), made up of Anglican, Baptist, Methodist and URC members, all worshipping together as one single congregation.
We meet for our Sunday Gathering at 10am, you will find the Gatherings led by both our Minster, Rev Paul Seymour and also members of the congregation, we will also have visiting preachers from time to time. Styles can vary from week to week, with Cafe Church on the first Sunday of the month and Holy Communion on the second and fourth Sundays. Our music worship style is a mix of contemporary and traditional.
We also have a 10am Gathering on Thursday, which is for Prayer and Reflection. This is a time to come together be led in a study of scripture, followed by a time to discuss and talk about the scripture over coffee.
We have Sunday Clubs for school age children.
Various groups meet during the week, Knit & Natter, Reflections for those who
As a Church we have a vision that shapes what we do: Knowing God's love, Growing in the Holy Spirit and Going in Christ's name. We believe that God loves everyone and wants us all to personally know His love for each of us. He gives us His Holy Spirit to help us live in a way that shows that love. And He asks us to go out in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, to share the good news that we can be forgiven for all of our mistakes and be reunited with God.
The parish of Panshanger is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of St.Albans’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

We meet at 10am every Sunday.
The Sunday Gatherings can look different from week to week:
First Sunday of the month is Café Church which is informal and for all the family, pick up a tea, coffee and cakes on your way in!
Second and fourth Sunday is Holy Communion so there are usually more set words that we say together. These Sundays we have our age appropriate children and youth groups.
