Who we are
We are a group of imperfect people seeking our perfect God. The good news is that, no matter where you are in your journey towards Jesus you are welcome here at RLC. We know that visiting a new church can be nerve racking and awkward but I think you will find RLC to be a welcoming church full of people ready to grow towards Jesus together. We dress casually and welcome people who look different, talk different, and believe different.

Pastor Jens Sundem became the senior pastor of Real Life Church in 2014. Prior to moving to Bigfork he founded a school of discipleship called Perea Ministries outside Missoula, Mt. as well as running an outreach camp for teenagers. Pastor Jens committed his life to Jesus in 1995 at a Young Life youth camp and has been serving Him passionately and with purpose ever since. Graduating with a BS in communication from Western Washington University in 2002, Jens went on to receive his Masters of Divinity from Liberty Seminary in 2005. While in pursuit of his calling, Jens also met and married his wife Monika Sundem and they have 4 children, Shaela, Lincoln, Josiah and Cora.
Jens is passionate about Jesus and preaches primarily in a verse by verse through the bible style. He can often be found in local coffee shops preparing sermons, meeting with people on a 1:1 basis, coaching or playing soccer and hanging out with his family in his front yard teaching his kids (and all their neighborhood friends) everything from bike tricks and basketball throws to how Jesus sees them. Jens’ heart is to reach people in a real and authentic way and love them like Jesus does using the example set before him in the Bible itself.
