Leader Bio:
The son of Adventist Italian immigrants, Pastor Frank has a passion to see the gospel lived out in the church through authentic spiritual relationships, understanding that biblical church is a group of people following Jesus together. He considers it his life work to encourage the church to follow the Jesus of Scripture in authentic relationship rather than just “do church” as an obligation or a program to get through, and to share the amazing good news of the love of Jesus with the world.

Really Living Seventh-day Adventist Church History
Formation // Living Word Christian Fellowship began organizing in 2000 as an intentional church plant of Hamilton Mountain Seventh-day Adventist Church. At that time 20 adult members who felt called to be a part of the new vision formed the church planting core team. This new group explored and eventually settled on the cell church model (small groups) as their foundational structure.
Inauguration // Living Word’s inaugural service was held January 20, 2001. By January 2004, the company of believers was officially granted church status and became the first Seventh-day Adventist cell-based church in North America.
Growing Pains // As the church grew and activities expanded, the limitations of renting a worship facility became more problematic. By 2007 church leadership expressed interest in a 15.7 hectare (39 acre) undeveloped property at the southwest corner of Upper James and Twenty Road. Preliminary plans began developing for construction of the “Really Living Centre” — a place where the church could not only worship, but could also offer training opportunities and community services to the people of Hamilton and beyond. Purchase of the Upper James property was finalized in August of 2011.
Rebranding // In the fall of 2016, in anticipation of the Really Living Centre nearing construction, Living Word Christian Fellowship rebranded with a new logo and name, as Really Living Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Grand Opening // On Saturday, September 7, 2019, the Really Living Centre celebrated it’s official grand opening complete with ribbon cutting, facility tours, an inspiring dedication worship service, and a celebration luncheon.
Looking Ahead // From our new facility, we continue to develop and host engaging and relevant community services to show Christ’s love in tangible ways to our neighbours and friends in Hamilton and beyond.
