Who we are
Our Mission Statement
We are a caring community. Through Worship, Teaching, Outreach and Fellowship, we share God's love.
WHOEVER YOU ARE, WHEREVER YOU’RE AT, JOIN US ON THE JOURNEY.
We are an inclusive and supportive community of faith that follows in the Way of Jesus.
We welcome the ministry and participation of all persons regardless of age, gender identity,
health, race, differing abilities, religious or ethnic background or economic circumstance.
The congregation of Richards Memorial United Church was formed in October 1951 and met in the basement of Argyle Public School. At that time it was known as Argyle Park United Church and was part of a 2-point charge. Plans were immediately started towards erecting a church on Clarke Road. This new church was dedicated and opened in 1953.
Many people talk about finding “home” at Richards Memorial United Church. We sincerely hope that you feel at home here too.
If you are interested in learning more about our community, please reach out to us through richardsmemorialunited@bellnet.ca or contact us @ 519-455-3470
