We exist to invest God’s best in others and help them do the same!
Real People
Really. No pretense. No pretend. People just like you. We have hopes and dreams and have experienced victories and defeats. We all laugh, cry, work hard, enjoy time off, get frustrated at times and even fail – because we’re REAL.
You’ll find a variety of people at Ridgeland Baptist Church. People from different places, of different ages, different backgrounds, different styles of dress, and different tastes gather together to worship the One True God.
As different as we are, we all have this in common: Everyone at Ridgeland Baptist Church has either experienced God’s grace and forgiveness or needs to! We all know that without God’s grace through His Son, Jesus, we have no hope. We are united in a purpose that is greater than any of us – following Christ.
Relevant Worship
Our Sunday experience is specifically built with your friends and first time guests in mind. You can expect a laid-back atmosphere where casual dress is welcome. Come as you are! We worship Christ with words based on Scripture with upbeat music, and a real-life, relevant message from God’s word. Come as you are – NO PERFECT PEOPLE ALLOWED.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His One and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” -John 3:16
God’s word is pure, profound, and practical. He reveals His love for mankind from cover to cover and invites us into a real and personal relationship with Him. While the Bible teaches on a wide variety of subjects, the message of His love for us and the opportunity for forgiveness and a life of meaning is interwoven throughout the Scriptures.
Our pastor teaches from the Scriptures with conviction, relevance, and encouragement as he communicates the message. Since God meant for His word to be lived, our pastor’s challenging messages always have a practical application. God’s word has the power to change lives!

Worship Languages
Dress code:
Dress comfortably. Some people dress up, but most wear casual and comfortable clothes on Sunday mornings. Don’t worry about what you wear, as you’ll never feel out of place when you come casual.
Children and Youth Activities
Under 12s:
Our programs are Sunday School (Sunday 10am) and Elevate (Wednesday 6:45pm). They are located in the B-Hall. The B-hall is exclusively a children’s department, and the hallway is blue.
Sunday School focuses on different goals depending on the age. By age 3, our little ones will know that Jesus loves them. By age 6, they will know how to show Jesus’ love to others. By age 9, they will understand how to forgive others because God has forgiven them. By the time our preteens turn 12, they will understand how to accept God’s gift of salvation and share it with their friends.
Elevate is an 8 week program that teaches Biblical Truths and Life Lessons. Each night of Elevate, the children learn a Bible Story, a Scripture, a Life Application Lesson, have a short game time, and they receive a Family Devotion to complete during the following week. The completed Family Devotion can be brought back the next session with a parent’s signature, and the children are given $5 Jungle Gems. Jungle Gems is our ‘money’ to buy awards at our Children’s store that is named DOREAN’S. Jungle Gems money is our reward system for good behavior, participation, returned Family Devotions, bringing their Bible to class, etc.

Here at RBC, you will find passionate praise, the teaching of God’s word, love for one another, and a ministry that will lead students to a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. Our ministry focuses on students in grades 7th-12th. Our goal for these teenagers is the same as that of Paul’s for the Colossian believers…For EVERYONE to hear the gospel and for every teenager who responds to be presented “perfect in Christ.” (Col 1: 28-29)
“We are committed to taking our teenagers deep into the Word through discipleship and wide into the world through evangelism until our teenagers are conformed to the image of Christ and are taking other teenagers on this same exciting journey.”
We would love to have you join us on this journey…it promises to be fun, Spirit filled, and life changing!
