Welcome to St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran, Church, a Missouri Synod congregation with more than 140 years of serving the people of northwestern Indiana with the mercy and love of Jesus Christ through the preaching of the Word and administering the Sacraments.
St. Paul's is a small intimate congregation with a giant-sized heart.
The Sunday morning service begins at 10 am with fellowship and Bible study following.
St.Paul, Otis, is a delightful congregation of unique members (some call themselves characters) who are eager to show the love of God to all, members and non-members alike.

Chronology
1870 A preaching station was started at Otis, Indiana by Rev. J.H.H. Meyer of Valparaiso, Indiana.
1871 St. Paul's first called-pastor, was Rev. Ellias Hieber, who served a triple parish of Otis, Porter, Station/Chesterton and Westville, Indiana.
1873 The triple parish was disabled and Rev Emil H. Hardrat of Michigan City served Otis and Porter Station/Chesterton.
1874 Otis organized (a second time?) to build a church
1875 Otis church is dedicated
1878 Otis organized again; constitution, dated July 10, 1878, extent. First resident pastor of Otis was Rev. Emile. R. Hamann.
1880 Rev. Hamann organized the St. John Evangelical Church in Chesterton,; triple parish of Otis, Westville, and Chesterton.
1881 Beatty's Corners Cemetery was deeded to St Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church
1905 Otis and Westville a dual parish
1907 Triple parish of Otis, Westville, and Michigan City,IN served by Pastor Emil H. Polzin
1908 Otis Ladies Aid organized (Lutheran Service Organization)
1921 Otis and Westville return to a dual ministry. Reverend Paul F. Buck, Pastor
Church minutes changed from German to the English language
1925 Aid Association for Lutherans chartered and first Sunday School established
1935 St Paul Luther League organized
1980 Otis and Westville dual parish discontinued, both congregations continued the Lord's service as separate parishes
1988 Young Believers Club organized
1988 Men's Club organized
2002 Beatty's Corners Cemetery inclusion into the Indiana Department of Natural Resources,
