Born in Salem, Ohio, Ben grew up in Sanford, Florida, and calls New York home. He studied music, education, and English in undergraduate work at Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida, and received his Master of Divinity from Duke Divinity School. Meeting people where the are, and then through connection, teaching, and preaching, inviting them to see the ways their faith can be so much more than a compartmentalized activity—that’s one of Ben’s favorite parts of his job.
