Spirit of Truth Ministries History
Formerly known as "Solid Rock Christian Center," Spirit of Truth Ministries encourages loving others as Jesus loved us and to speak His Truth, uncompromisingly, in love. Our prayer is HE will draw all to Him, as HE is lifted on High.
Spirit of Truth Ministries was founded in 1994 by Apostles Alfonso and Cynthia Steele, after much fasting, prayer, and obedience. What once began as a Street Ministry with in-home meetings, eventually turned into a Church ministry headquarters with the name "Solid Rock Christian Center" and remained as such for 23 1/2 years, until just recently. "Spirit of Truth Ministries" is a ministry operating under the oversight of Spirit of Truth Apostolic Network. We are an apostolic and prophetic house that love and welcome all to come to HIM (Jesus) just as you are.
Our Purpose is to: "Love the Lord our God with all our hearts, all our souls, all our strength and all our minds, and love our neighbors as we love ourselves."
The Church's Mission is: "Equipping the saints for the work of the ministry, who through their God-given gifts, transform their communities and the nations of the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ."
The Church's Vision is: "To reach individuals in Spokane and beyond and equip them to become active, mature believers in Jesus Christ."
