Holy Communion
BEGINNING 24TH MAY OUR SERVICE TIMES WILL BE ALTERED TO COMMENCE AT11AM.
Holy Communion is our main weekly act of worship. This is based on Common Worship, a reverent service of Communion with music that is largely contemporary and lively. Children spend part of the time in their own group 'Little Fishes'.
Every first third fourth and fifth Sunday at 11:00 AM for 1½ hours
Little Fishes
Children leave the Communion service for part of the time to meet for their own teaching in our coffee lounge. They are led by our children's workers. They then return for Communion.

Family Worship
BEGINNING 24TH MAY OUR SERVICE TIMES WILL ALTER TO COMMENCE 11AM. A short service of worship for all the family. Includes contemporary, lively music and an interactive time for the children of all ages, to share in worship and God's word.
It is followed by refreshments.

Praise and Healing Service
NO SERVICE ON 6th MARCH. Our monthly time where we can praise God in song, often learning new songs, reading the word of God and if we wish receive pray for healing.

A youth club for SCHOOL YEARS 7, 8 and 9. Various activities provided are arts, crafts, indoor and outdoor games, puppets, drama, lively worship, refreshments, a tuck shop. We ask you to register with us and gives us signed parental consent. At present there is no entry fee.

Rainbows. For girls 5 to 7 years old.
Rainbows is all about developing self-confidence, building friendships, learning new things and having fun. Girls get their hands dirty with arts and crafts, trying out cooking and playing games. Rainbows is all about learning by doing. Contact: Lyn 07712 408439

Girl Guides. for girls 10 to 14 years old.
Here girls are given the chance to explore their individual skills and abilities and try out new challenges as part of a team.

Tuesday
Monthly Open Doors for the Community, usually in the form of trips out.
This is a monthly social time for the local community. Usually day trips or theatre trips are arranged. Membership is not essential, but can save you some pennies if you use the service regularly. Well worth trying out. Contact - Joan Humphreys 0161 724 8946.

Prayer Hour at St Andrew's
An hour set aside for prayer and reflection only, there is no set format, no service involved.
Every first Tuesday at 7:00 PM for 1 hour
Jesus Prayer Hour, at St Georges, Unsworth.
'The Jesus Prayer' has two important purposes. The first is worship as with all prayer. The second is a discipline to help our soul gain control our overactive brains and create stillness so the Holy Spirit can work through us and help us live our lives in union with God' from Orthodox Prayer.

Holy Communion
A new service for us, if you are unable to attend Sunday morning, now is a good time to come and receive communion. A short said Holy Communion. All welcome.

Brownies . For 7 to 10 year olds.
Brownies activities are varied, they can find themselves trying out arts and crafts or recipes, playing energetic games, taking part in community action projects, to name but a few.

Just 4 Girls. Monthly
On 4th May we will have someone come to talk to us about signing and give us some insight into living with deafness. We hopefully will learn some basic words.This is an evening group and as the name suggests it is for women only, friends, family, all females welcome.
This event is normally every first Wednesday of the month. A variety of events are offered, examples being jewelry party or chocolate night or beetle drive. Please contact Michele 0161 796 2315 if any queries.

See and Know
Re starting 10th ASept 2015.Our See and Know group is for pre- school children accompanied by parent, grandparent or carer.
There is singing, crafts and bible teaching, all aimed at appropriate ages. Using simple nursery rhyme style songs with visual aids the children can learn about each other, the world around them, and basic Christian truths. We have toys for the children to enjoy and a craft is arranged in connection with the theme of the morning. Drinks and toast is served also.

Friday
Alcoholics Anonymous
A local group meet in our side room each Friday. They provide an opportunity for members to share with one another on problems related to drinking patterns and attempts to achieve stable sobriety. They also permit detailed discussion of various elements in the recovery program.
THERE IS AN OPEN MEETING ON THE LAST FRIDAY OF EACH MONTH, ALL OTHER MEETINGS ARE FOR MEMBERS ONLY.

All Things Male.
Thursday 11th Dec will be 'ATM' Christmas meal at the Queen Ann, Unsworth, for 7.30pm. This is a male only group. A time to socialise, sometimes including food intake, ask questions biblical or other wise, put the world to rights, do odd jobs and just be together.
