St. Andrew's Anglican Church History
Where it all began
Wednesday night Bible study became the foundation from which our congregation was born. We grew from 6 people to thirty in three weeks. We were meeting at the local Christian Café 12:100 and completed a study of the Beatitudes and then began studying the book “Knowledge of The Holy” by A.W.Tozer. As we outgrew the space, the Glover’s graciously opened their home to the group each Wednesday night.
On February 22, 2015 the first service of what was soon to become St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, was graciously held at Bob and Alyson Dickson’s home. We had thirty eight (38) people in attendance and our Anglican Newfoundland (Rowan Dickson). We decided on Shrove Tuesday to have a Sunday service and with the guidance of the Holy Spirit it came to pass on the first Sunday of Lent
