Who we are
St. Clare of Assisi Parish was founded on July 15, 2008 when the Diocese of Allentown found it necessary to close, merge, and consolidate parishes due to declining parish populations and vocations to the priesthood.
We are ever grateful to the Catholic foundations laid for us by the parishes of St. Boniface (1853), St. Mary’s (1864), Immaculate Conception (1905), and St. Casimir (1912), and SS. Peter & Paul (1918)
The church is handicapped accessible via a wheelchair lift on Mill Street.
