We welcomed Fr. Andrzej Mitera to St. Edward parish as our new pastor in July, 2024. Father Andy is originally from Poland. He was ordained to the priesthood in 1994, and recently celebrated his 30th Anniversary. After his ordination, Father Andy spent six years of intensive training, learning the Spanish language, before being sent to Ecuador as a missionary priest for six years. He then came to the Diocese of St. Augustine, at the request of our late Bishop Victor Galeone, to serve the parishioners of Northeast Florida.

As many of you know, the Traditional Latin Masses at our parish will end this month (June 2024), pursuant to the two-year dispensation from the Vatican’s Dicastery for Divine Worship. We thank Father Jan Ligeza and all who have supported and helped with the Latin Masses at our parish since they began again in 2019. Unfortunately, there are no further Latin Masses scheduled at St. Edward's parish.
