Who we are
Saint George and Saint Bishoy Coptic Orthodox Church was established in 1995. One year later, a building was purchased until it was sold and replaced by the current church building in 2005.
Several priests have served in this parish, including Hegumen Father Daniel Azer Sous, Hegumen Father Michael Gabriel, and Father Shenouda Ghattas until the ordination of Father Youhanna in February 2008.

Fr. Youhanna Farid Eskandar. was born on January 11, 1947 In Assiout, Egypt. Following his graduation from the Faculty of Engineering at Alexandria University with a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1967.
Since he never wanted to be an engineer, he worked in all sorts of teaching and training. He worked in Alexandria, Egypt, then in ARAMCO, Dhahran and, finally for the Higher Colleges of Technology in Dubai UAE.
Now, He works for GOD at His church of St George and St Bishoy in Visalia where HG Bishop Serapion ordained him on February 17, 2008.
He served at Saint Georges Church (Sporting/Alexandria) with the late man of God Abouna Bishoy Kamel. Then, at Saint Mark and Saint Bishoy Church in Dubai and at, Saint Mary and Saint Abu Sefein in Sharjah.
In 1973, He studied the first two years in Alexandria Clerical College. He read the third year but, left Egypt for Saudi Arabia. He earned his masters from Glasgow University in Education/Teaching to non-native speakers of English.
He has always done what he loved and now, he loves what he's doing.
