Who we are
Welcome!
Mission Statement
We are a Bible believing community which aims to listen, and be transformed by God’s word. We strive to be more like Christ and to serve our community and world around us through sharing the good news of Jesus and undertaking practical acts of love. We are a community of people whose desire is to know and honour God.
Vision
Our vision is that we as a church are able to be partners with God in order to fulfil his command given in Matthew 28:18-20:
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always to the very end of the age”.
Values
Prayer is an integral part of our community life. Through prayer we can come to know and trust God more deeply. Prayer is one way we can praise God, thank Him for His work and ask Him for His continued presence in our lives. It is also an opportunity to confess our failings and to be reminded of His grace and faithfulness.
We seek to equip the whole body of the church to grow in closeness to God and to mature into the measure of the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:13).
We seek to be people that introduce God to others and to spread the good news of Jesus in order that the kingdom of God would grow.
We seek to be a church community that truly worships God together.
We seek to be a church community in which God will be present in all things that we do.

Leader Bio:
James came to Australia in 2009 from England on a short term overseas secondment as a management consultant with a global accountancy firm. Five years later he was ordained as a minister in the Anglican church in Sydney, which wasn’t part of his plan but was part of God’s! James believes in the gospel of grace and building a family of Jesus Christ at Beecroft, which is growing in number, in faith and in love. He also believes in running and rock music, sometimes indulging in both simultaneously when his ageing body allows. He is married to Karen and has a daughter, Keziah, with whom he loves to offer and accept hospitality.
