St John the Baptist Knutsford Service Times
Sunday
Holy Communion
This is a traditional Anglican service of Holy Communion, where we use the 1662 Book of Common Prayer. This service tends to be quieter in nature and our hymns, old and new, are organ-led. The sermon is the same as at 10.15.
Every Sunday at 8:45 AM for 1 hour
Morning Service
This is the main morning service where we come together as the family of God, with people of all ages and backgrounds. To enable all ages to be taught the bible in a way that’s best for them, we have a crèche for babies and toddlers, a junior church for children up to 10 and a Pathfinder group for 10-13s.
* The 3rd Sunday of the month is a service of Holy Communion.
* Music at the 10.15 service is a blend of traditional hymns and modern songs, accompanied by organ and music group.
* All our sermons are recorded and can be listened to online or downloaded from our web site.
Every Sunday at 10:15 AM for 1 hour and 25 minutes.
Evening Service
This service takes place in our church centre and is more informal in nature. Although there is an age range from pre-teens to mid nineties at this service, it is particularly popular with 20-30s and accessible to those not used to church. We use the big screen for video input, news, interviews and events. Our music is led by the band. As well as regular sermon series, in this service we also have more in-depth monthly lectures.
Every Sunday at 6:30 PM for 1 hour
