Who we are
St Mark's is a small, stable parish in a small, stable town. After two years of soul searching, our congregation carefully and prayerfully decided we could no longer afford a full time pastor. Consequently, we are now experiencing an extended period of continuing discernment with a half-time intentional interim pastor. Our attendance remains steady; about a third of our regular Sunday worshipping community of 55 is children under the age of 14. Three years ago we enthusiastically adopted our new mission statement, "We Serve," and we began the hard, good labor of living up to it. We've established an active local mission initiative-- our Shepherd Program-- to meet the many need of folks who fall through the cracks in our area. In 2013, we welcomed the first Intern Pastor in our history. In all, we are a happy and devout Christian community that worships the triune God richly, and serves our brother Lord Jesus generously.
