St Mary & St Nicolas Spalding Service Times
Sunday
Holy Communion
A said service according to the Book of Common Prayer, with a short address.
Every Sunday at 8:00 AM for 35 minutes
Worship for All
On the first Sunday of each month (usually) we do something different at 9.30am. Sometimes the service includes Holy Communion, but mostly it doesn’t.
Girls from Guides, Brownie and Rainbows take part regularly, but not every time.
Often members of the congregation are invited to do or say something-but nothing too difficult or embarrassing.
It isn’t a service just for children or even for families with children (Pram service on a Wednesday is good for that), but it is a place where everyone is invited to engage a bit more, to think a bit more and to move around a bit more, though not too much.
And there is coffee in church afterwards, too.
Every first Sunday at 9:30 AM for 50 minutes
Family Communion
Common Worship Order 1 Eucharist, with hymns old and new.
Every second third fourth and fifth Sunday at 9:30 AM for 1 hour
Parish Eucharist
A Prayer Book Eucharist, with Merbecke setting, led by our choir of men and boys.
Every Sunday at 11:00 AM for 1 hour
Evensong
Choral Prayer Book Evensong, with music led by our choir of men and boys
Every Sunday at 6:30 PM for 1 hour
Tuesday
Holy Communion
A service of Holy Communion (Common Worship) with a short address. There is coffee afterwards in the church hall.
Every Tuesday at 10:00 AM for ½ hour
Wednesday
Pram Service
A simple informal service for families with small children, followed by drinks and games in the church hall.
Term time only
Every Wednesday at 1:15 PM for ½ hour
Service Times last updated on the 4th of June, 2016
