Who we are

Welcome to The Anglican Parish of Halswell Prebbleton, Christchurch

We have two churches in our parish...
Saint Mary's Church, 329 Halswell Road, Christchurch
All Saints Church, Corner of Springs and Blakes Road, Prebbleton

Both Saint Mary's and All Saints stand in the spacious properties left to us by our forebears. Our beautiful grounds are very much part of God's creation and are enjoyed by the wider community as places for reflection and relaxation.

We do welcome anyone who likes to spend time there.

St Mary's Halswell Christchurch Service Times

Regular Sunday Services are:

8am St Mary's Halswell
9.30am All Saints, Prebbleton
10am St Mary's Halswell

All these are full communion services with the exception of 10am on the third Sunday of each month which is a Family Service. For families requesting Baptism this is the most appropriate occasion.

All Saints in Prebbleton have a combined evening service with the Union Church there in place of the 9am whenever there is a fifth Sunday in the month.

A midweek communion service is provided in St. Mary’s each Wednesday at 10am and on the 1st Wednesday of each month this is followed by morning tea.

Michael Phillipps with the bandOccasionally we celebrate with a 'Riding on Faith' service of songs and stories with the band led by Reg Garters

Prayer for healing is offered at our services once a month.
