The purpose of the Mothers’ Union is to be specially concerned with all that strengthens and preserves marriage and Christian family life. We care about the welfare of children and families, offering help and encouragement to mothers in the creation of loving family homes. We offer support to older members and to those in difficult circumstances, both here and overseas.
You don’t have to be a mother to be a member; single women and even men are welcome as members. We are part of a world wide organisation, with over 4 million members in 83 countries.
Meetings in Ketton are held on the second Wednesday of each month, usually at 2 pm in the Congregational Hall in Church Lane, with speakers on all aspects of social work.
