The Saint Patrick Catholic faith community enters the 21st century celebrating in its fifth and newly dedicated Church. The community continues to stress the Catholic teachings first put forth by its patron Saint Patrick that all human beings are born with dignity and must be respected, no matter what their condition in life. Similarly, all people must be treated equally under the law, with a special preference to protect those who have been marginalized or ostracized. These faith teachings and principles have guided Saint Patrick Catholic Church in Fayetteville, NC in the 18th, 19th, 20th, and into the 21st. century. Life Teen is a Catholic Youth Ministry movement led by the Holy Spirit that ministers to high school teens from a completely Catholic perspective. The mission of Life Teen is to create an environment that leads teens into a relationship with God through Jesus Christ and His Church. Reaching out to teens on spiritual, emotional, and social levels, Life Teen responds to their need to be loved and accepted in a day and age where many young people earnestly seek a sense of hope about their future and meaning and direction for their lives. Life Teen’s spirituality can best be understood through our Seven Core Values.
