Everyone is invited to drop in, call by, or stay for the full half hour to join in prayers for the work of the church here in Balsall Common, and for the concerns of the Parish and people living here. Each week the themes will be published in the newsletter but there will always be space for prayers for things that arise in the day, or are brought to the group. Meet in the church!

Outreach Services at Harper Fields Care Home
We offer short services with Communion at the new Care Home in Balsall Common, together with the Methodist Church (Methodists Second Friday, and CofE on Fourth Friday of each month)
Every second and fourth Friday at 11:00 AM for ½ hour
"SWITCH" in the Hall
A new way of approaching Family Worship, messy church and other less formal church activity in the Hall. Suitable for families with young children, the worship lasts about 45 minutes, followed by refreshments. The 'contemporary style' worship is all very informal, with activities for all ages and needs but includes songs, teaching and prayer ....
Look out for the warning notice outside the church in the week before it. We are also beginning "cafe church" either within the SWITCH service or at other major festivals, in the church building. We try to advertise these in advance, with a new Poster and every third Sunday at 9:30 AM for 1 hour
Bumps & Babies
A new venture for 'new and expectant mums' - meeting weekly in the comfortable space in the Baptistry at the back of the church - good coffee, home made cake, and mutual support.
Except in half term and school holidays every Friday at 10:00 AM for 1½ hours
CAP Money - Christians Against Poverty
St Peter's seeks to use the 'CAP' approach of budget advice and training to help people manage their income and outgoings when money is short - supported by a Christian faith and advisors: we run a series of 2 or 3 training sessions on 'how to live on a budget' using the approach of "Christians Against Poverty" - free!!! We will run this whenever there are people who need it ...... Please contact Moira Johnson (01676 532389) to indicate your interest.

All our main services are followed by 'refreshments' in the Hall, where Fairtrade goods are also on sale.

A monthly celebration of Evensong with choir and organ
