Who we are
A Welcome from the Vicar
Welcome from Chris Cottee, Vicar
Welcome to St Peter's Church North Watford. Let me tell you a little about us here at St Peter’s. We are an Anglican (Church of England) church. That means there’s a vicar (Revd Chris Cottee), a parish (9,000 people in 3,500 local homes) and a certain amount of liturgy in our services (we use service-books with some set prayers and so on).
Our policy is to focus on Jesus and the relationship with God the Father that He makes possible fo us. We’re not big on ‘religion’ and formality.
Any visitors, guests or newcomers are treated as fellow seekers with us after the amazing God we have glimpsed and want to know more. Could that be you?
We are looking to grow so you would be especially precious!
I have found that people often find that encounter with God just through being among us for a while, which has been a wonderful thing to witness!

Pathfinders
Pathfinders is for 11-14 year olds ( year 7-10) and meet in the church lounge at 10.00am. We use a variety of activities including crafts, games and drama to learn about Jesus and to help our young people to develop a personal relationship with him. We sometimes have trips such as bowling and quasar and there is an opportunity to take part in an annual weekend away. We have very low numbers at present so the group is currently combined with Sunday School but we hope to relaunch Pathfinders as a separate group and would welcome new members.
Contact Sharon on 01442 737364 for more details.
Sunday School
children from the age of three can attend Sunday School. We meet in the Church Hall at 10.00am and join the main service at round 11.00 for the final hymn
