Who we are
At the 2015 Parish AGM, it was agreed that all is working well and so it was decided we continue to operate in the same manner. In February, 2011 the Bashaw Lutheran Parish moved forward in a contractual partnership with the Edberg/New Norway Lutheran Parish --- sharing the ministry of Rev. Jeff Decelle. In July, he resigned and was called to to serve in Medicine Hat, AB. We are presently being served by Interim Pastor Julianna Wehrfritz-Hanson residing in Camrose, AB, in the same arrangement - two parishes being served half time per parish. At St.Peter's we continue with bi-monthly worship services with Holy Communion, offer pastoral care and visitations, benevolence to the Synod and donations to local charitable groups and/or CLWR. On a fifth Sunday month, one of the four congregations hosts a Communion Service, potluck lunch and great fellowship. Overall, we have been blessed.
