“Come unto me, all that travail and are heavy laden, and I will refresh you.â€
This is a said, traditional language Holy Communion Service with serMonday This quiet service follows the pattern of the Book of Common Prayer.
Sunday at 8:00 AM for 1 hour
All-Age Communion
On the first Sunday of the month, we have an all-age Communion service with children involved in the liturgy, and an all-age address. Our informal worship group and our robed Choir lead our singing. There is often a baptism in the service. It usually lasts less than an hour.
Every first Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour
Family Communion
This family-friendly, inclusive service of Holy Communion is our main Sunday service. It includes both traditional and modern hymns and worship songs. Our services follow the seasons of the Church year and our preaching aims to offer intellectual and spiritual challenge. Everyone is welcome to join us for tea and coffee at the back of Church after the service.
Children are in Church at the beginning of the service, bringing candles up to the altar in the first hymn and then going to our “Jesus and Me†(JAM) Sunday school. They return for Communion and share with us what they have learnt. Our choir lead the singing. This service usually lasts just over an hour.
