Holy Communion (said)

Family Worship
On the first Sunday of each month there is a more informal setting for our Family Service when the sermon is interactive and the children offer the prayers and readings. On particular Sundays we are pleased to include Holy Baptism within the main service, or this can be a held at another time by arrangement with the Vicar.

Parish Communion
We welcome everyone to share in this weekly Holy Communion Service with its mixture of both traditional and more modern hymns.
During termtime there may be some special Junior Church activities offered during this service, but there is a permanent children's relaxation corner within the church for younger ones to enjoy playing or reading in sight of their parents or carers.

We enjoy wearing the seasonally appropriate coloured vestments through the year and, as a special treat at the main festivals, we may also use incense. There is a votive candlestand and a prayer board towards the back of the church: please light a candle or offer a prayer in writing or pictures if you wish.
You will be very welcome to stay for coffee/ tea/ juice/ sherry (and even sometimes cake) at the back of church after the service!
Every second fourth and fifth Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Family Communion Service
We welcome everyone, especially families with young children, to share in this less formal Holy Communion Service.
Young people will be encouraged to participate in this service by, for example, acting out a bible story, making music or assisting in leading prayers. There will often be some creative activity. There is also a permanent children's relaxation corner within the church for younger ones to enjoy playing or reading in sight of their parents or carers.
