Who we are
Established in Feb 1921 with the original name of Treifaldijhets Norse Evamgelisk Menighet, we called our first pastor. It wasn't until 1934 when we began using English more often than our predecessors' native tongue of Norwegian.
Though we are part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), we also embrace and give thanks for other faith traditions, because we are all, ultimately children of the one and same God.
Core Values (which define the culture of the congregation): Welcome, Worship, Support & Connect.
Working Mission Statement (which, when reviewing the list of values, is what we will do): We welcome you to worship Christ, live by His Word and strive with us to be disciples of His teachings.
Working Vision Statement (which is the outcome based on the values and mission statement): Nurturing relationship, individually and collectively, with God and God's creation.
