Who we are
OUR WORSHIP TIMES
We have three gatherings each weekend: at 9:45am, 11:00am and 6:30pm as well as a mid-week relaxed time of worship and communion together, every other Thursday at 9:45am.
We appreciate that everyone worships in their own unique way – for many, that means lively worship songs, the chance to informally discuss and question faith and life issues; for others it means a more formal, structured setting to explore, reflect and be challenged. At Trinity you’re welcome to be part of whichever of our different meetings is the most stimulating environment for you and which makes you feel most comfortable.
Every Sunday, in each of the worship meetings you will hear a relevant, straightforward message that is based on Scripture and is designed to be helpful in your everyday life. We trust that these messages will help you develop a growing, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ, and provide a strong biblical foundation for your life.
THE 9.45 GATHERING seeks to be an opportunity for real life issues to be explored from a Christian perspective in an informal, friendly and safe setting. Our time together includes praise songs, drama, video clips, dialogue, and the chance to question and talk through issues.
During term time, our Young People’s Church (YPC) join us for the praise songs, and then carry on to their own activities. Parents, please note that there is a great crèche in our worship area in which the smaller ones can play, and because this is in the worship area you can see them all the time.
THE 11.00 A.M. SERVICE OF WORSHIP AND TEACHING is a relaxed, but more structured worship. It includes great hymns and songs of faith which are accompanied by a choir and organ and uplifting congregational singing. Each week our Minister, or visiting Preacher, shares a thematic, scripturally grounded message from the Old and New Testament.
THE 6.30 P.M. SERVICE OF WORSHIP AND REFLECTION is a quieter more reflective and formal style of worship which includes hymns accompanied by the organ, with longer times for prayer and reflection
