Who we are
Are you curious about the meaning of life? Interested in a non-dogmatic approach to spirituality? Are you looking for an open minded community where everyone is welcome? Do you value participation and collaboration?
Undodiaid Bangor Unitarians (UBU) is the only Unitarian community in North Wales.
We are a small community of people in North Wales who meet regularly to explore spirituality in the context of modern life and understanding. Our community is diverse and welcomes people who might describe themselves as Christians, Buddhists, Sufis, humanists, agnostics, atheists, or none of the above. Our group is affiliated to the General Assembly of Unitarian and Free Christian Churches where we find we have many kindred spirits. In modern Unitarianism there is neither dogma nor creed that participants need adhere to. The only requisite is an open, enquiring mind.
We welcome you wherever you are. We have a very active online community which includes participants who live abroad and locally. A number of us do live in north Wales and meet regularly in person. If you live elsewhere in Wales, you might want to look at the Unitarians in Wales web site for another congregation. If you are just over the border, you could take at look at the the Merseyside and District Missionary Association web site for a congregation nearer to you.

On 1st Sunday we meet at the Telford Centre Menai Bridge in person (usually "hybrid" i.e. also with online access).
