Who we are
Who we are
We are a group of local people who meet together on Sundays and during the week to help and support one another, whether that means to grow in our faith or in other practical ways.
In modern society, belonging to a community where people have time for each other is increasingly important. We are keen to welcome all who come, whether they are Christians of long standing or those wishing to explore the Christian faith or simply seek help and support.
Our aim
As a church we seek to promote the teachings of Jesus and to regularly take time in our busy lives to be still and seek to hear God’s voice through hearing his words to us in the Bible or through prayer.
Jesus called ordinary people to put faith into practice by becoming his followers or disciples. The word disciple means learner or student. We aim to be people who can learn to put faith into practice together by helping and learning from each other.
Our purpose reflects this aim: “Making disciples by sharing Christ’s love in word and deed.”
