Who we are
Welcome to Whetstone Baptist Church
We are a community of faith that lives to glorify God through Jesus Christ in worship, making disciples, loving one another, and serving the community.
We are a group of ordinary people from many backgrounds, who have had many different experiences in life, both good and bad. We have one thing that brings us together and unites us – our love for our Father God and our relationship with him through his son, Jesus Christ.
Our Sunday services, courses and and midweek small groups help us explore and deepen faith. We have a wide range of young people's, and children's ministry groups, and lots of ways you can get involved.
Whoever you are, whatever your background, whatever your current situation, you will be warmly welcomed at WBC.
If you don't, at the moment, follow Jesus or believe in God, we provide a safe and trustworthy environment to explore Christianity.
If you have a relationship with God, or once did and want to return to him, then you are equally welcome. We'll help you develop and deepen that relationship.
