Who we are
Welcome to Woodcliff Baptist Church! We are so excited to see what God is doing with and through our church family. We would like to take a minute and explain what we're about. Our church has been known as a lighthouse in this community for well over fifty years. The original building, started by a few women, burnt down. A new church building was erected and services and ministry continued. The church was built on the principles of God's word and continued to try to reach the lost and dying world.
While the building and the people over time have changed, God's word has not changed. And the way we must come to God has not changed. Ephesians 2:8-9 says "For by grace are ye saved through faith and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." We must come to the point in our lives where we realize we cannot live without Jesus. Life without our Savior is empty, exhausting, and out right impossible to enjoy. Life with Jesus brings joy, peace, love and hope. Not the hope that you wish for but the hope God gives us. The hope that means it will happen.
We that are saved and trust Jesus with our soul will spend eternity with Him one day in heaven. Where will you be my friend?
