Wandearah Uniting Church History
'In the beginning was the word and the Word was with God and the Word is God'. The earliest occupation of Wandearah was in 1847. The early settlers arrived in buggies, carts, drays and wagons. Many of the settlers were Wesleyan Methodist religion. The first divine service was held in E&G Jacobs house with a Wesleyan Minister coming out from Port Pirie.
Later a weatherboard church was erected on land given by Mr Graham in 1875. The present church was opened in 1895, on land given by Mr T Vanstone.
